As many of you know, I grew up around cars and always wanted a classic car. It all began with my father’s old pictures of his 1970 Camaro. As I got older my brother and father decided to restore a 1966 Mustang Fastback 2+2. At that moment, I was hit with the Mustang bug and began to nag my father about getting me a classic Mustang when it was time for my first car.
That fate almost changed when I came across what was supposed to be my first car, a 1967 Pontiac Firebird with a 326 engine. But, thanks to my grandfather I was convinced to buy a newer car, which turned out to be my first car, a 1991 Ford Mustang 5.0. I had my 5.0 throughout most of High School and into college until I was asked by my parents if I wanted a newer car. Well, needless to say I jumped at the opportunity and began to look at used and new Mustangs. After a rigorous search, it was down to a 2001 Mustang Cobra and a new 2003 Mustang GT. Obviously, I chose the 2003 Mustang which I still own and has been my daily driver since December day 2002.
The look of my Mustang hasn’t changed much over the year except for a few performance and cosmetic changes done throughout the years. However, unlike most fellow Mustang Owners, the changes done to my Stang have been revolved around the Circuit Track and not the Drag Strip. With that, I have installed the following: 13 inch Cobra Front Brakes, Tokico 5-way Adjustable Struts and Shocks, H&R Springs, Front and Rear Sway Bars, Cold Air Induction kit, Flowmaster Exhaust System.
For the Track: Steeda Ultra Lites and Nitto Tires.
